Webinar: Understanding Your Options for No-Cost Energy Projects

Distributed energy resources (DERs) are becoming increasingly valuable for large commercial and industrial (C&I) energy consumers.

Energy storage systems, combined solar-plus-storage systems, and backup generators can enable C&I energy consumers to minimize exposure to the high costs of consuming from the grid—such as high electricity prices and demand-related charges—while also maximizing payments through demand response programs.

However, many C&I energy consumers often miss out on these opportunities. Finding the capital to invest in DERs can be difficult, and delivering a return on that investment requires access to energy market programs and expertise to know how and when to operate the assets to create the most value possible.

Today, many C&I energy consumers have access to a wide range of financing options that use the future value of these projects to cover the upfront costs and entrust the operation of the assets to an energy solution provider that is equipped to maximize the value.

On Wednesday, April 10, Energy Manager Today is hosting a live webinar that will break down the economics behind some of the financing opportunities for no-cost energy storage, solar-plus-storage, and backup generator upgrade projects for C&I energy consumers.

Specifically, the discussion will cover:

  • The different financing options for energy storage and solar-plus-storage projects
  • How demand response earnings create financing opportunities for upgrades to backup generators
  • Details of successful projects and the benefits delivered to energy consumers
